First Time?

First time trying Aerial Arts? We are thrilled to have you as a newcomer to our community! If you're wondering what to expect during your first class, we've got you covered.

How to book 📆

Term Enrolment:

Our kids/tweens/teens classes run on a termly school basis. You can view our current kids classes on our timetable page. Please contact us regarding the availability of the class you are interested in and we will let you know if there are spots available.

Adult classes:

To join a class at Aerial Magic you can book casual pay-as-you go classes through this link. If you would like to book in for the full term, please email info@aerialmagic.com.au and we can organise this for you.

Before your class ⏰

Make sure to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated! Wear clothes that are comfortable to you. We recommend full length tights and tops to protect your skin from the apparatus.
Please arrive 15 minutes early before the class as you (or your child) will need to have a waiver form filled out to be able to participate in the class.

During your class 👯‍♀️

Class sizes are limited to 6 per session. Therefore you will share the space with a few other people. The content of the class will be dependent on your skill level however, each session will always include a warm-up and a cool down. Most classes run for 1 hour. Our Aerial Strength and Stretch class runs for 45 minutes.

Studio Etiquette ✔︎

1. Kindness & Respect:
Respect others and the studio. Aerial Magic is our safe place and everyone is welcome – no matter their ability, interests or background. We support everyone in our classes and their achievements.

2. Arrive Early:
Please arrive to class at least 5-10 minutes before the start time.

3. No Jewellery:
Please do not wear jewellery or clothing with zippers during class to avoid damaging the equipment. This also protects your jewellery from being damaged.

4. Phone on Silent:
Please turn your phone on silent during class to avoid disturbing the class. For adult classes phones are allowed for recording purposes.

5. Hygiene Practices:
To keep our space nice and clean there a few things we like to do at Aerial Magic.

  • Take your shoes off at the front door and store at the shoe rack

  • Avoid wearing perfumes or lotions

  • Please have clean feet to keep our equipment clean for others!

  • Do not come to class if you/your child are feeling unwell

6. Follow Instructions:
Always follow instructions from your teacher. Do not touch the equipment until you have been instructed to. To keep everyone safe while doing aerials this is the most important rule.

Current Schedule ✨

Have a look at our current class schedule and see if there is a class that suits you. For complete beginners we recommend the aerial hammock classes to build your aerial foundations, however our aerial hoop classes are suited for beginners as well.
