Our Coaches

Owner and Head Coach
Jaimee Goad
Jaimee began her aerial journey at the age of fifteen. She discovered a passion and love for aerial arts, training across a range of apparatuses including the aerial silks, aerial hammock, dance trapeze and her favourite the aerial hoop.
Jaimee has eight years of aerial experience, six of those as a coach and has completed certification in Dance Hammock and Aerial Hammock for Kids.
Now with a wealth of knowledge, Jaimee decided to bring aerials to her small town in the Noosa Hinterland.
For Jaimee, the purpose of creating Aerial Magic is to build a sanctuary for all that is non-competitive. It is a place to develop positive body image and self-confidence through an inclusive and supportive community.
Struggling with body image, low confidence and low self-esteem as a teenager, Jaimee knows how important it is to have a safe environment to be yourself, try new things and grow.
Jaimee hopes she can inspire and bring out the magic in all of her students.

Assistant Coach
Matthew
Matthew is our resident warm-up game mastermind who’s all about making fitness fun! A lifelong lover of sports and movement, he brings his passion and energy into every class — inspiring others to find joy through aerial arts.
Before joining Aerial Magic, Matthew spent several years coaching under-12s basketball during college, where he developed his calm, encouraging coaching style.
Our students adore Matthew for his positive energy, creative warm-ups, and friendly presence around the studio – don’t forget to say hi when you see him!

Junior Assistant Coach
Ella
Miss Ella began her aerial journey at Aerial Magic in mid-2024 and hasn’t looked back since! Her favourite apparatus is the aerial hoop, and she especially loves creating beautiful shapes in back balance poses.
Before discovering aerials, Ella spent three years sailing on the Noosa River — learning how to steer boats and master the art of knot-tying.
She is now Aerial Magic’s first junior assistant coach, helping out in our Thursday session classes and sharing her enthusiasm with younger students.
In 2025, Ella shone on stage in Good Shepherd’s school musical, Chicago, performing a choreographed aerial hoop routine to Razzle Dazzle — we couldn’t be prouder!
Ella truly embodies Aerial Magic’s values of being supportive, inclusive, and imaginative, and we can’t wait to see where her aerial journey takes her next.
